Will Western Kentucky Repeat as Conference USA Champions?

BOWLING GREEN, KY. - The stage is set for the 2016 Conference USA Football Championship Game. It will be a clash between the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the defending C-USA Champion, Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Kickoff at Houchens Industries - L.T. Smith Stadium is set for 11 a.m. and will air nationally on ESPN.

The Bulldogs won the first meeting over the Hilltoppers 55 to 52 back on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston, La.

Here are three reasons why the Hilltoppers will repeat as C-USA Champions.

Home Dominance

WKU is 12-1 all-time against C-USA opponents at home.

They're Too Good

Even though the Bulldogs are 7-5 all-time against C-USA opponents on the road, I just don't think they will have the answer to slow down the high-powered offense led by Junior Quarterback Mike White and Head Coach Jeff Brohm.

He's Been Here Before

WKU is 8-2 against C-USA West Division opponents with their onlu two losses coming on the road against the Bulldogs. Let's not forget that he's also won a C-USA Championship after hammering  Southern Mississippi 45 to 28 last year. I think it's going to a whole new story this time around especially with the game being held in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
