ALCS and NLCS Picks
The teams are now lined up to complete in the American League Championship and National League Championship Series. Here are my predictions.
The ALCS features the Boston Red Sox versus the Houston Astros. The Red Sox and Astros squared off in last year's American League Division Series, with the Astros winning that five game series 3 games to 1. My simple analysis: the Red Sox have won the most games in the entire league (108). Who was second? The Astros (103). This is going to be a real test, but I predict the Red Sox have what it takes to slug their way into the World Series. Red Sox in 6.
The NLCS has the Los Angeles Dodgers versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Going strictly by season wins, the Brewers are ahead 96 to 92. However, knowing nothing about either team, except that the Dodgers stretched last year's World Series to seven games, I predict that they've still got a little of that juice. Dodgers in 6.
