Kicking Off Baseball's 2017 Post-Season

The Red Sox have won the American League East Division, despite losing their last series to the Houston Astros. The Sox will have to regroup quickly because the Astros are their opponent in the ALDS (Sox are the 3rd seed, Astros are the 2nd seed). The winner of their best-of-five will face either the Cleveland Indians (1st seed) or the winner of the Minnesota Twins/NY Yankees series (seeds 5 and 4 respecively).

Out of the American League, I'm rooting for the Red Sox, but Cleveland has a massive chip on their collective shoulders (they lost the World Series last year).

The National League seeds: 1) LA Dodgers, 2) Washington Nationals, 3) Chicago Cubs, 4) Arizona Diamondbacks, and 5) Colorado Rockies. I don't know how I like or want out of the NL, but the marquee team is the defending World Series champs: the Chicago Cubs.

I'm excited for the baseball playoffs!
