NFL Wildcard 2019
I'm excited for the start of the NFL playoffs! Here are my completely uneducated picks against the spread for this weekend's games.
Saturday's games.
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (-1). Take the Texans here. No good reason other than they're the home team favorites and the Colts are 4-4 on the road.
Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (-2). Take Dallas. Both teams are 10-6 on the season, but the narrative of the Cowboy's ascendancy is too compelling.
Sunday's games.
Los Angeles Chargers at Baltimore Ravens (-2.5). I don't understand the line. It seems as if the Ravens have some momentum, but the Chargers are a 12-win team! Take the Chargers.
Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears (-6.5). Like Dallas, I like the narrative of the Bears rising to dominance. We won't know whether that's real or not until they play, but against this spread, take the Eagles.
