The Heisman Potential

Justin Herbert is the quarterback for the Oregon Ducks who are always one of the best college football teams in the nation. Herbert showed last season that he is a real good QB and could really fit in any offense because he has the talent and the smarts to do so. Justin Herbert had a great season for Oregon as their starting QB for 8 games last season. Overall the Oregon Ducks finished with a record of 4-8. Herbert finished with a record of 2-6 as a starter and he played like an absolutely great QB. He didn't throw any more than 2 interceptions in a game. He finished the season with 19/4 (TD/INT). He threw for 1936 yards while completing 63.5% of his throws and had a rating of 148. Not only that, but he added 161 rushing yards and 2 TDs rushing. He was a very solid QB who showed how much of a factor he is in the Oregon offense. Oh and he did all that as a true freshman. That is really impressive for a true freshman. He started the season as the backup. I think he will just get even better and with the talent he has and Oregon has in their offense I think he will put up great numbers and people will rank him as one of the top QBs in college and could win the Heisman trophy. Yes the Heisman trophy. I think he will throw 30 or more TDs while only throwing 5 interceptions. I think he will throw for over 3500 yards and Oregon will be a great team.
