KWINGS PUTS UP A RECORD 8 GOALS IN GAME 4 WIN

KALAMAZOO, MI. -Home ice was very generous to Kalamazoo as they took care if business in game 3 thanks largely to Cam Darcy's assist performance capped off with Peter Schneider's hat trick scoring in a 6-4 victory on Tuesday night.

With the possibility of going down 3 games to 1 Kalamazoo has their sights on game 4 set in the crosshairs and was focus. Kalamazoo knowing they have to win game 4 on Wednesday night to square the series and to keep from going back to Toledo down 3 games to 1. In order for that to happen, Kalamazoo must play the way they did in game 3 to secure the win.

Kwings continued we're they left off from game 3 while on a power play to open period 1 Josh Pitt opened to scoring with a wrister shot between the legs of Toledo goalie Jake Paterson and Brian Hart tip shot in front of the net gave Kalamazoo a early 2-0 lead.

Toledo quickly returned the favor scoring their first goal of the period as Tyson Spink gets one in (ast. Evan Rankin ) cutting Kalamazoo lead 2-1 at the 10:04 mark.

Kalamazoo kept the scoring berrage going on a Peter Schneider's steal and serve to Cam Darcy wrister score along with a top shelf score by Scott Henegar and the Kwings lead 4-1 at the end of period 1 and knocking Paterson out of the game.

Kwings we're rolling in period 2, Kalamazoo get another score on a power play (second of the game) as Schneider scoops up the loose puck and puts it through it's now 5-1 Kwings.

Toledo gets on in of their own as Alex Globke long wrist shot gets passed goalie Nick Riopel for a 5-2 Kwings lead.

Kalamazoo capped off another period scoring once again when Eric Kattelus shot ricocheted off a Walleye defender into the net and Kalamazoo now hold a 6-2 lead at intermission.

Toledo showed great response in period 3 at the 11:02 mark they Attacked Kalamazoo with scores by Kyle Bonis, Tylor Spink, and Landon Oslanski to cut the lead to one goal at 6-5.

But Kalamazoo took the game over down the stretch scoring 2 goals by Pitt to cap off the hat trick and Kalamazoo wins 8-5. at Wings Event Center.

Kalamazoo controlled most of the game with total involved of seven players. Overall hustle and aggressive play was the key to their win.

Toledo once again showed tentiveness early in the game. They were out hustled and the lack to take advantage of the opportunities they had was key to their loss.

Kwings travels back to the Ohio to face the Walleye tied 2-2 in this best-of-seven series. Game 5 is set for Friday at the Huntington Center at 7:35 pm.
