TIME FOR CHANGE IN L.A..

?

LOS ANGELES, CA (STS) - If you had the opportunity to get a huge trade done would you do it? Well, the Lakers had that opportunity and blew it. If L.A. want to restore back to their winning ways they have to jump on deals and players like Cousins that don't come by easy EVP Jim Buss and GM Mitch Kupchak did not pull the trigger and let Cousins go to New Orleans. Cousins who is averaging 28 points and 11 rebounds a game would have been a great start to that rebuild. As much as they don't want to let go of potential players on the roster like Brandon Ingram, that would have been to me a straight up player for player deal that would satisfy both Kings and Lakers. Jennie and Magic both say they was unaware of the chance of that happening and if they knew that would have made the deal happen. With Russell's escapades last season leading the Lakers trying to trade him, Randel not panning out to his potential due to injuries, unsure about young players like Williams and Nance, Jr., and the Deng and Mosgov trade; Buss and Kupckak not only shot themselves in the foot but shot themselves out of their duties within the organization ( Buss relieved as EVP of Basketball Operations and Kupchak fired as GM). Now Jennie and Magic can finally do what is best for the Lakers to restore hope and respect back to the organization and the city of fans that love L.A.
