Week 11 Insane picks and BOLD Predictions

Mariota's 4 tds last week is showing why the Titans took a chance on him as a high draft pick and he may only get better.

Week 10 was a wild and crazy week in the NFL but nothing out of the ordinary. The patriots finally showed vulnerability, while the Cowboys kept rolling their way to a franchise record 8th straight victory. Let's take a look at how week 11 shakes out as the playoff picture may become a bit clearer.

Thursday Night Football

Saints vs Panthers

Cam and the Panthers may be at home watching the playoffs this season, while the Saints are still fighting for a chance to take the NFC south. The Saints are still a top 5 offense that may be too much for a struggling Carolina secondary, Saints win 27-17

Sunday's games

Cardinals vs Vikings

The Vikings are in a tailspin and still have a top 10 defense but but their running game is the worst in the league. The Cardinals pulled out a win at home against the hapless 49ers but the offense sputtered the 2nd half last week. This game will be a defensive struggle and a game of field position, which better suits the Cards and David Johnson, Cardinals win 16-13

Bills vs Bengals

The Bengals gave away a close have in the Meadowlands last week while the Bills lost a controversial week 9 contest in Seattle. The Bengals may have to run the table to make the playoffs and that may not be likely with their remaining schedule, this game may spell their doom as the Bills running game and dual- threat Tyrod Taylor may be too much, Bills win 20-17

Bears vs Giants

The real Jay Cutler showed up again last week and with the suspension of Alshon Jeffery it puts a lot of pressure on the rookie RB Howard. Eli and the Giants showed grit in a last minute win against the Bengals, but they are still struggling on the ground. Eli should have another good game against a Bears defense that hasn't stopped anyone this season. Giants win 31-14

Steelers vs Browns

Roethlisberger had a near perfect game but came up short against Dallas
Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

This game is going to the Steelers right? Well that might be true but these games could always go either way. Kody Kessler played well before being pulled last week in Baltimore, while the Browns defense wore down in the 2nd half. Pittsburgh lost a thriller at home to the Cowboys, as their defense wore down in crunch time. I look for this to be a close game despite the records, I'm going with the Steelers (barely), Steelers win 17-13

Buccaneers vs Chiefs

The Chiefs are on a tear right now and their defense is the key to the whole thing, so look for them to put the pressure on Winston all game long. The Bucs put up nearly 40 points last week but going against this defense at one of the hardest stadiums to play in, Chiefs win 27-10

Ravens vs Cowboys

Ezekiel Elliott is running away with rookie of the year and his 203 yards from scrimmage and 3 touchdowns led the comeback win against Pittsburgh
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Cowboys are rolling along and playing better that any of their Super Bowl winning teams winning 8 straight and being on top of the power rankings. The Ravens of old showed at home in last weeks win, but I think the Dallas running game will be too much and wear them down by the 4th quarter, Cowboys win 30-20

Jaguars vs Lions

The Jags are looking at another season below .500, while the Lions have played well their first season without Calvin Johnson. Matthew Stafford has a chance to put up big numbers here and jump back in the MVP race, so look for this to be  shootout at Ford Field, Lions win 34-24

Titans vs Colts

The Titans are getting the proper use out of Demarco Murray as he is Mr. Do it all and 2nd year QB Marcus Mariota has been using his arm and wheels to put the ball in the endzone. The Colts stole one in Green Bay and looked good on offense but their defense is still in question, so I'm going with the Titans because their defense may hold up against Luck and the Colts, Titans win 24-20

Dolphins vs Rams

The Phins travel up the road to L.A. with a four game win streak and they have done it with running the ball and their defense is trying to turn things around. Jared Goff will finally get his first NFL start but he will do it against one of the best pass rushers in the league in Cameron Wake, so more weight will probably be put on Todd Gurley's shoulders. The dolphins have to get some production from Tannehill to pull this one out and I think they do, Dolphins win 23-10

Patriots vs 49ers

Brady didn't throw a touchdown last week in a loss to the Seahawks so look for him to make that up Sunday in San Francisco
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

This will be one of Bill Belichick's signature revenge games and the 49ers defense is right for the picking. The Pats may put up 50 in this one even with out Gronkowski, Patriots win 48-9

Eagles vs Seahawks

The Eagles shut the Falcons offense down by controlling the clock and running the ball, which is what they will have to do against a Seattle team who is starting to peak at the right time. Look for the Seahawks to mix up the run and pass to keep the Eagles D off balance, look for Graham to have another big game, Seahawks win 23-13

Sunday Night Football

Packers vs Redskins

Kirk Cousins is hitting his stride as the Skins' are becoming a threat in the NFC
Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins offense has carried the team after an 0-2 start and look to keep pace for a wild card spot. The packers are a shell of the past and have struggled horribly against the pass, which will hurt them against a Skins' offense that can stretch the field, Redskins win 31- 24

Monday Night Football

Texans vs Raiders

Look for Mack to have a big game against the Texans, it's time for him to turn it around
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

The Raiders are one of the best offensive teams the league with a young QB in the MVP discussion, while the Texans have depended on their defense to pull out games. Osweiler has not lived up to the hype and with Khalil Mack on the other side it will make his night a bit difficult, Raiders win 35-21
