Ajayi's 200 yard explosion carried the Dolphins to a much needed win over the Steelers in week 6

Lucky week 7 in the NFL and a couple of key injuries for teams above .500 could make or break their season lets see if they survive.

Thursday Night Football

Bears vs Packers

Aaron Rodgets says they have been a bit off this season, as they face their old foe the Chicago Bears
Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

One of the sports oldest rivalries and you know records go out the window in this one. Rodgers hasn't looked like a former MVP, while Chicago has struggled all season on defense. Aaron Rodgers will have to come up big without Eddie Lacy and James Starks who are out with injuries. Brian Hoyer has played well but I don't think the Bears will hold up defensively, Packers win 20-13

Sunday's games

Giants vs Rams (London)

Beckham could very well have another big day against a decimated Rams secondary
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Eli Manning hit OBJ last week to give the Giants a comeback win at home while the Rams came up short and are on a two game losing streak. L.A. and NY my been in for a shoot out over the pond with both of their defensive units struggling against the pass. I'll take the Giants since they have a bit more chemistry on offense. Giants win 28-24

Saints vs Chiefs

Offense vs Defense in this one as the aerial assault of Drew Brees and the Saints visit arrowhead stadium. New Orleans will be in for a test as the Chiefs are playing back to back games against a good offensive team but they shut down the Raiders in Oakland which is bad news, because Arrowhead is a much tougher place to play. Chiefs win 28- 17

Vikings vs Eagles

The Vikings have the best defensive unit in the NFL and that means rookie Carson Wentz may be looking at 3rd straight loss after a hot start. Sam Bradford has stepped right in and pushed the Vikings offense to the next level, which probably means Minnesota takes this one, Vikings 23-17

Colts vs Titans

Mariota has used his arm and legs to carry the Titans to two straight wins
Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

This clash of AFC south rivals puts two young QB's head to head in a game that could send each team in a different direction. Tennessee's Mariota has put together back to back games where he has passed and ran well, while Andrew Luck has been hit more than a pinball machine as they picked up a heartbreaking loss in Houston. Mariota should have his third straight productive game and look for DeMarco Murray to go well over 100 yards. Titans win 21-17

Bills vs Dolphins

An AFC east rivalry that never disappoints, this one should not be any different as Rex has the Bills back in contention after a rough start, while the Dolphins ran by Pittsburgh at home last week. Buffalo's defense may be too much for Tannehill, which means the Dolphins may have to depend on Ajayi for a second straight week. Tyrod Taylor will be the X-Factor so I'm going with Buffalo, Bills win 16-13

Redskins vs Lions

Matthew Stafford's slinging the rock all over the field and has performed well his first season without Johnson, but the Lions will have to pressure Cousins and keep him from hitting the deep ball down the field. Washington must attack the Lions front 7 and set up the play action to be effective on offense. The redskins have the better chance at running the rock, Redskins win 27-23

Browns vs Bengals

The battle of Ohio and this one could go either way and even though the Bengals have the better record, Cleveland has played all out and will eventually break through with a win, but they will have to stop the Bengals vertical passing game and strong run game. This rivalry game will give them the energy and rookie Kessler has adjusted to the pro game fairly well. Browns in an upset 20-17

Raiders vs Jaguars

Two young guns face off in northeast Florida and this one should be good offensively. Both teams are not top notch defensively, so look for the receivers on both teams to get open early and often. The Raiders will be without Murray and that may be the difference, Jags win 34-27

Ravens vs Jets

Geno Smith must take advantage if he wants to be a permanent starter in the NFL
Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets finally give Geno a shot and it's against a Ravens defense that gave Eli fits last week, so look for the same. Baltimore has the edge mentally as New York seems as if they are looking towards next season. The jets lack leadership so I'm going with Baltimore, Ravens win 21-12

Chargers vs Falcons

Atlanta will be playing a bit angry this week after a disappointing loss in Seattle, as for San Diego they finally held a lead and handed the Broncos their second loss in a row. The falcons offense may be too much for a Chargers secondary that's banged up, so I'm going with the home team, Falcons win 31-17

Buccaneers vs 49ers

San Francisco is trying to salvage what they can of this season and this game may be just what they need as Kaepernick makes his 2nd straight start. Tampa has struggled on defense as injuries have hurt them in key areas, Winston lost one of his big receivers for the rest of the season, so look for the Niners to focus on defending the run or what's left of it. Niners win 16-10

Patriots vs Steelers

This game was marked on calendars  one of the top games of 2016 but the injury to big Ben took away from this game. Tom Brady will beat up on  young Steelers defense and they may not have the firepower to keep up with Landry Jones, Patriots win 38-17

Sunday Night Football

Seahawks vs Cardinals

The Cardinals have owned the Seahawks the past couple of seasons and this game is key for Arizona to keep pace in the division. Russell is still battling his ankle injury and will be limited to running outside the pocket, which plays into the Cards hands, Cardinals win 23-16

Monday Night Football

Texans vs Broncos

Von Miller and the Broncos D will have to take control if they want to snap the current 2 game skid
Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Denver has struggled the past two games on defense which is the staple of their team and also their young QB's have not been able to hit open receivers. The Texans have had their struggles on defense also but the game will depend on Brock Osweiler's play. I don't think Denver will be dropping a 3rd straight, so I'm going with the Broncos, Broncos win 17-12
