Vancouver NLL Branded Warriors

The Vancouver Canucks stripped the Stealth branding from the moment they purchased the National Lacrosse League franchise in June. The Canucks operated the team as "NLL Vancouver" over the past few months of this off-season as the 2018-19 season crept nearer, with the promise of a new name to come. The team also relocated from the suburban Langley Events Centre to Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver (home of the Canucks).

Canucks Sports & Entertainment announced at Rogers Arena Friday that the team would be named the Vancouver Warriors when they begin their next season this December.

The team has a long history of change, dating back to its inception in the 2000 NLL season as the Albany Attack. The team relocated as the San Jose Stealth for the 2003-04 season, and again as the Washington Stealth (in Everett, Washington - the Seattle area - not DC) for the 2010 season. The team had played in Langley, British Columbia as the Vancouver Stealth since the 2013-14 season.
