NFL Betting Percentages, Odds Seahawks-Falcons, Texans-Patriots

Round 2 of the NFL playoffs, the Divisional Playoff round commences Saturday with one of the biggest mismatches in NFL playoffs history balanced out by what has the makings of a spectacular game. At 4:35 ET, the Seattle Seahawks play at the Atlanta Falcons on Fox. Atlanta is a 4.5-point favorite, though as high as -5 at several sportsbooks. The total is about evenly split between 51.5 and 52. The game opened at Atlanta -3.5-115 and 49.5. Only a mild majority of 58 percent of bets are on Atlanta, with a prohibitive 70 percent on the over.

The nightcap is on CBS at 8:15 ET, the Houston Texans at New England Patriots. New England is 15 to 15.5 point favorite with a total of 44.5. If the game closes at -15 or higher, it will be the largest point spread in the OffshoreInsiders.com database and biggest since January 20, 2008 when New England was -14.5 to San Diego. The game debuted at New England -16 and 44.5. Despite the high number, 73 percent of wagers are on the Patriots with just 52 percent on the over.
