IPL 2017 points table: Kolkata Knight Riders climb to top after vanquishing SRH

KKR have jumped to the top of the table, after securing a 17-run victory over SRH, at the Eden Gardens, in Kolkata, on Saturday.

Its the two captains from this match, Gautam Gambhir and david warner, who have taken the top two spots on the highest run scorer's list.

Mumbai Indians moved past Kolkata Knight Riders to claim the top spot in the IPL 10 points table after a four-wicket win against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore here on Friday. While MI bowlers restricted RCB to 142, the Rohit Sharma-led side sealed a victory despite Samuel Badree's hat-trick courtesy Kieorn Pollard's 47-ball 70-run innings.

Kolkata Knight Riders jumped to the top of the table as they comprehensively defeated Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens on Thursday. Requiring 172 runs to win, the Gautam Gambhir-led side sealed the win with 8 wickets in hand. The loss at the Eden Gardens dislodged KXIP from numero uno spot.

Kolkata Knight Riders thumped Gujarat Lions by 10 wickets and marched to the top spot in the points table.
