Is Antonio Brown Returning to the NFL?

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Antonio Brown was taken by the Pittsburg Steelers. A few days later, Antonio Brown was involved in a legal dispute. A woman filed a police report stating that Antonio Brown Sexually Assaulted her and Raped her. The NFL heard about this and started an investigation on Brown. Brown shortly after, left the Steelers and waited for other teams to pick him up. Brown then went to the NFL headquarters and pleaded his case to the Commissioner. A little while after, he was signed by the New England Patriots.

He was released by them for being turbulent to team officials, coaches, and players. Antonio Brown played 1 game for the Patriots which was extremely helpful according to Tom Brady. The NFL Commissioner stated “ even if Antonio Brown is picked up by a team, he will not be practicing with the team. He would be placed on a Commissioners Exempt List. He would be allowed to attend team meetings, have therapy and rehab done if permitted by the franchise.” The commissioner’s exempt list is a list that the commissioner has that includes players and/or coaches that have been violent, disruptive, or have had legal issues and an investigation is being conducted.

Earlier today, December 28, 2019, Antonio Brown was signed to the New Orleans Saints and then dropped 7 minutes later. According to NYPOST.COM, “ Antonio Brown’s chances of participating in the NFL are vanishing.” His chances of playing in the 2019 NFL season have dropped to approximately 15%. Many sports reports say that he will not participate in the 2019 season at all except for when he played for the Patriots.

All of this evidence is making me think that Antonio Brown will not return to the 2019 NFL Season. He may return in the 2020 Season if he clears up all of his legal problems.
