NXT Results for 11-16-2016: A Wrestler Drifts Back, New Alliance Formed, Almas vs. Alexander
Match 1 - Liv Morgan vs. Peyton Royce w/ Billie Kay: Morgan was holding her own against Royce, and she ended up putting the Aussie in a guillotine choke. It was cinched in pretty tight, and that may be why Kay entered the ring and broke up the hold. Morgan was awarded the disqualification victory, but she began to be beat down. Aliyah ran down to the ring to help, but with Morgan down, she was quickly outnumbered. As the Canadian took her beating, an unexpected song came over the speakers; that of Ember Moon's. The Dallas, Texas native hit the ring and outmaneuvered Kay and Royce, and sent them running to the back.
Match 2 - Nathan Cruise vs. Elias Samson: Samson hadn't been seen in a while, and it was because of an injured ankle. He won this return match by hitting Cruise with the Roll the Dice.
Sandwiched in between all of the "Takeover: Toronto" previews was an interview with Liv Morgan, Aliyah, and Ember Moon. Dasha Fuentes asked Moon why she joined the two young women, and Ember replied with not wanting their fire to extinguish. Morgan then stated that if Billie Kay and Peyton Royce want to run the women's division, they could try and find a third person and bring it.
Main Event - Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. Cedric Alexander: Near the end of the match, Alexander was getting back in to the ring, and as he did, Almas pulled down the second rope and let it snap up in to Cedric's nether region. With the cruiserweight in pain, "Cien" took a hold of him, and planted him with a hammerlock DDT. Almas covered for the pinfall after that.
