Preview|Dortmund vs Spurs - UCL RO16 Second Leg

After an eventful week for Tottenham Hotspur - just about getting a point at home to fierce rivals Arsenal as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed a late stoppage time penalty, they travel to Germany to face a shaky Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund come into the second leg with only 1 win in their last 5 games, coming against Bayern Leverkusen where they scraped a 3-2 victory. At the start of 2019, Dortmund had a 11 point gap between themselves and rivals Bayern Munich, but now they are only top on Goal Difference.

As for Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs, they have won 2 of their last 5 games, and they are winless in their last 3 games, losing to Burnley and Chelsea, and drawing with Arsenal.

Spurs midfielders Harry Winks (hip) and Eric Dier (tonsillitis) have travelled with the squad but are unlikely to start, Dele Alli remains out with a hamstring problem, although he could return at the weekend.

Right-back Kieran Trippier has been left at home with a "slight problem" according to Pochettino.

It is set to be a great European night in Germany, with Dortmund throwing everything at Tottenham as they need to overturn a 3-0 aggregate deficit.
