Arizona Sun Devils beats Cal 51-41!
This was gonna be the most interesting college game I ever seen. I wasn't to expect much from the two colleges. The Sun Devils were taking on the young fresh California Golden Bears. Cal's Quarterback Davis Webb was taking on Sun Devils Quarterback Manny Wilkins Jr. Webb kept the Bears ahead in the first half while Wilkins Jr was trying to get the Sun Devils to score and closer. The Golden Bears defense was making sure Wilkins Jr couldn't get the team to score till the second Quarter. The Golden Bears were a head till the second half started.
I gotta say I was impressed the way Wilkins Jr getting one touchdown, with 290 yards averaging 9.7 while D. Webb has five touchdowns and 456 yards averaging 8.6. Here is another fact that Webb has two interceptions lead in the fourth quarter, and Wilkins Jr has one interception. Wilkins has three rushing touchdowns with 23 carries and 72 rushing yards, averaging 3.1 per a yard. Which is good for a college quarterback. Webb didn't even try to run the ball. Webb had four carries but with -15 yards, come on man. I like how Sun Devils running backs Demario Richard has 19 carries 66 rushing yards averaging 3.5 but no touchdowns. Kalen Ballage has six carries with 22 rushing yards and averages 3.7 and no touchdowns. I notice Wilkins has the three rushing touchdowns. Golden Bears running backs has no touchdowns either, which doesn't surprises me but I did like Khalfani Muhammad had 12 carries and 84 rushing yards average 7.0. Webb threw a pass to Tre Watson for a touchdown, which was one play 74 yards for Tre Watson.
Dj Calhoun the Sun Devils kick returner ran for a touchdown, Jay Jay Wilson got a touchdown pass by Wilkins in the fourth Quarter. I was impress while I saw Webb threw two interceptions in the fourth Quarter. Webb thought he could help the Bears with a comeback but he was sack and lost the ball, the Sun Devils recover it and kneel in to win the game 51-41. What a great game for both teams.
