The one thing that the Buffalo Bills will remember from this season is that they finished 9-7, but the Bills showed us that they’re a work in progress. The future is now bright for the franchise as they hired Rex Ryan as the next head coach.

The Bills are finalizing a five-year deal and Ryan will earn a salary of $5.5 million per year. With the hire of Rex Ryan, the defense is going to be the key if they want to have a winning season. Buffalo’s defense led the NFL in sacks (54). However, the offense is a major work in progress, especially if they want to find a new quarterback after Kyle Orton decided to retire.

After coaching the New York Jets for six seasons, Ryan posted a 50-52, which included a 4-2 record in the playoffs and led the Jets to two AFC Championship games.
