Hawks Heating Up at Perfect Time

As long as the Seattle Seahawks remain in the NFC playoffs, the road to the Super Bowl will go through CenturyLink Field.

The Seahawks proved that on Saturday when they dominated the Carolina Panthers, 31-17.

The Panthers had the chance to play spoilers in the fourth quarter, but Kam Chancellor came along, picked off Cam Newton and ran the ball back 89 yards for a touchdown, that my friends sealed the game.

You got to give credit where credit is due to Carolina because for most of this game, the Panthers stayed close to Seattle and looked like they were going to make things interesting. Once the fourth quarter came, the Seahawks got dangerous. It’s a given fact that Seattle’s defense plays their best football in that quarter. In six games, they had not allowed points in the fourth-quarter.

This means that the road to the Super Bowl will go through CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks await Dallas or Green Bay next week. Remember, during the season Dallas beat the Seahawks in Seattle, and Green Bay got defeated by Seattle on opening night.

Bottom line is, the Seahawks look like they’re heading back to the Super Bowl. This is what scares the remaining teams that are left in the playoffs.
