Manchester City wants revenge from their road visit to Tottenham as they play a home game against Everton on the eighth matchday of the English Premier League.

City dropped their first points of the 2016/2017 English Premier League campaign by losing a 2-0 game to the Spurs in North London. The Citizens have gathered a rare one point in their last two league games. Pep's squad sits in first place of the Premier League table top with 18 points after seven league matches.

Everton drew in their last league games before World Cup qualifying resume. Ronald Koeman's squad are in need of their first win in 3 competitive matches and sits at 5th place in the Premier League table with 14 points in seven league matches.

Team News: City faced an injury scare when Sergio Aguero suffered a calf injury during World Cup qualifying. Aguero, who has already missed games this season due to suspension and injury could be inactive for the Toffees visit on Saturday. However, Pep still has players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, and a new addition to the injury list in “Bacary Sagna" on the inactive list. Meanwhile, Phil Jagielka is doubtful for this contest with fitness concerns.

Prediction: Manchester City will be coming into this match with a lot of hunger and intent for revenge. However, the Citizens have had a rollercoaster ride against the Toffees by winning only two games in their last five games. I have to say with all the recent injuries including the latest injury to Aguero; I can see an upset at the City of Manchester Stadium (Everton Wins).
