Real Madrid host Leganes in match day 11 of the 2016/2017 La Liga Santander season.

Real Madrid was behind one-goal to claim a 4-1 win over Alaves in last weekends at the Mendizorrotza stadium. The Blancos have some injury concerns since the start of the La Liga camapign, which is a major reason why they've had these slow starts. Real Madrid sits top of La Liga with 24 points.

The 11th time European champions were held to 3-3 tie in their mid-week Champions League contest with Polish side Legia Warsaw. The match had drama with Legia fighting back from 2 goals down and took the lead with 5 minutes left in the game, only to give up a late goal.

Leganes suffered a 2-0 defeat at home in their match day ten match with Real Sociedad. The Pepineros have now failed to score in their last two La Liga games, giving up six goals in those matches. They sit in the bottom of the La Liga table with one point above the relegation zone.

Prediction: Real Madrid is scoring goals as of late. They have scored a whopping 14 goals in the last three games, and that is in all competitions. And they are the only undefeated side in La Liga after ten match days. For the newly promoted Leganes, it will be a hard game for them. Can they challenge the Blancos? It can happen, but with the Blancos having a great track record at home, I don't see it happening.
