NFL 2017 Odds, Ppicks Week 10: Advanced computer model loves Patriots, Giants

The tenth NFL weekend will attract average Joes bets to professional bettors.

The Atlanta Falcons are three-point favorites over the Dallas Cowboys, the New Orleans Saints are three-point favorites over the Buffalo Bills, and the New England Patriots are 7.5 points favorites over the Denver Broncos in a game that has already seen a lot of movement line

With so many dazzling games and so many odds of the NFL in motion, you'll want to know what the advanced SportsLine computer model chooses.

The SportsLine Projection Model had an amazing record of 174-80-2 in the NFL teams last season, better than the 98 experts followed by NFLPickWatch. All and each one

The SportsLine computer pickups would also have won more than 96 percent of the CBS Sports Office Pool Manager leagues that made the NFL picks last season.

It's recent after a week in which he called the Eagles (-7) covering the Broncos with ease. He also managed to get the Saints (-7) to cover the Bucs with plenty of room to spare and, this week, already called the Seahawks beating the Cardinals on "Thursday Night Football."

With week 10 here, the computer simulated each pairing 10,000 times and gave some surprising results.

A team that loves this week: the New England Patriots, who are favorites of 7.5 points against the Denver Broncos in "Sunday Night Football". The Pats are fresh out of the week, while Denver has lost four straight games by 10 or more points. SportsLine is calling for a comfortable 27-15 win for New England in this confrontation of teams heading in completely opposite directions.

The Broncos are so desperate at center they have turned to Brock Osweiler (19-38 for 208 yards, one touchdown and two picks last week). The SportsLine computer model says there is a greater chance that Osweiler will perform an interception than a touchdown and will have trouble exceeding 200 yards passing.

And even though Tom Brady will not be able to count on WR Chris Hogan (shoulder), he will still throw for almost 300 yards and two touchdowns, including one for TE Rob Gronkowski.

Another team with the proven model of SportsLine is all in one: the New York Giants, who are favorites of 2.5 points on the road on the west coast against the 49ers of San Francisco.

The Giants once lost their four main catchers in a single game, but the model says they will throw it to the 49ers and win a touchdown. The 49ers are 4-5 against the spread this season and have scored exactly 10 points in three consecutive games, two at home, and have not had a catcher in the first 100 yards since Week 5. They are penultimate in points allowed (26.6) and last kill in yards allowed (135.7).

The G-Men are covering the spread in 64 percent of the simulations and winning 67 percent of the time. Behind Eli Manning and the Giants on Sunday in what SportsLine says will be a 21-14 victory. Look for the Under (42) to hit as well.

A surprise: the New Orleans Saints (-3) lose directly in Buffalo this week. The computer model projects Buffalo to keep the New Orleans duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara close to 100 yards on the ground and keep Drew Brees below 300 in the air. The Bills are winning this game in the money line (+125) 53 percent of the time and covering the spread in 58 percent of the simulations. Take the Bills against the Saints in an outdoor game in November.

The model also calls for a big win for one side in a game that the creators of odds see close to 50/50. Take this team now so that your Sunday has a profitable start.
