Hope you're having a good day.

Not a huge day in sports headlines, but I have a few to mention.

First, I'll start off with MLB.

MLB

Clayton Richard has been released.

The Toronto Blue Jays have released Clayton Richard and activated Elvis Luciano off the 60-day injured list.

The Cleveland Indians have called up James Karinchak and recalled Brad Zimmer.

Los Angeles Angel's Shohei Ohtani is going to have surgery on his left kneecap and is out for the rest of the season.

NHL

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed Marcus Petterson to a one-year, $874,125 contract extension.

NBA

After 15 seasons in the league, Shaun Livingston has announced his retirement.

New York Giant's Sterling Shepard is going to miss Sunday's game because of a concussion.
