NHL

Another veteran NHLer has retired.

Detroit Red Wing's Niklas Kronwall has announced his retirement after 15 seasons in the league.

The St. Louis Blues have re-signed Ivan Barbashev to a two-year, $2.95 million contract extension.

NFL

The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly signed Giovani Bernard to a two-year, $10.3 million contract extension.

The Indianapolis Colts have reportedly signed Jacoby Brissett to a contract extension. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
