Serious Injury In Last Night's Bruins/Stars Game
Hello sports fans.
Unfortunately today, I start off this entry on a really serious note.
NHL
Last night, Dallas Star's defenseman, Roman Polak, went heavily into the boards in a game against the Boston Bruins.
Polak was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
It was confirmed today that Polak suffered a fracture of his sternum, however, there is further evaluation of the injury scheduled for this week.

The St. Louis Blues have signed Brayden Schenn to an eight-year, $52 million contract extension.
