NFL Fantasy: Week 12 Waiver Wire Targets

What a week for starting players to get injured. Some of those to get hit with the injury bug were; A.J. Green, LeSeasn McCoy, Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews. Featured this week is a player set to benefit from one of those injuries and some great options that can help you push toward a playoff spot.

Sammy Watkins, WR, Bills - The Buffalo Bills are hopeful that Watkins may return when first eligible in Week 12. Even if that isn't the case and he returns in Week 13, grabbing him now and stashing him for the playoff run could be a huge boost to your championship dreams. (Owned in 42% of Yahoo Leagues)

Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals - With all-pro wide out A.J. Green possibly out for the season with a hamstring tear, his targets are going to have to go to somewhere. Boyd is a good bet to see a bulk of them as he was Andy Dalton's favorite target after Green went down. He went on to post a 6/54/1 line and should be poised to see more targets in Week 12 than the eight he saw this past Sunday. (Owned in 6% of Yahoo Leagues)

Eric Ebron, TE, Lions - Ebron has come on as of late by posting 70+ receiving yards in each of his last three games and one score. He looks to be a borderline TE-1 from here on out, you'd be hard pressed to find a TE with this much upside on the wire this late in the season so put a claim in if you can. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs - With Jeremy Maclin sitting out once again due injury, Hill was the Chiefs no.1 WR on Sunday. Although he didn't see 13 targets as he did in Week 10, he was able to turn his four receptions into 53 yards. Outside of Travis Kelce, Hill will continue to be the best option for QB Alex Smith down the stretch. If Hill is still available in your league, put those claims in now.
