NFL Fantasy: Week 9 Waiver Wire Targets

Navigating through the waiver wire to find a suitable player to fill a void on your roster can be difficult. It becomes that much more of a task when we're into the bye weeks and every other team is doing the same as you. As always, listed below are some players that could help fill those voids.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Kendall Wright, WR, Titans - Wright broke out in a big way in week 6, going off for 133 receiving yards and one touchdown. He came back to earth the following week but was able to turn in a productive week this past Sunday by hauling in four of his five receptions for 84 yards and a score. Marcus Mariota doesn't have many weapons at his disposal so Wright is a safe bet to see a good amount of targets. (Owned in 6% of Yahoo Leagues)

Quincy Enunwa, WR, Jets - Enunwa has been a steady option for the Jets by putting up 50+ yards in six out of eight weeks. The past couple weeks he's gone against mid-range pass defenses and performed well by totaling 166 receiving yards and two scores. With the Jets set to face the hapless Dolphins and Rams' pass defenses in the coming weeks, Enunwa is a great player to target this week of the wire. (Owned in 45% of Yahoo Leagues)

Tim Hightower, RB, Saints - Due to Mark Ingrams fumble in Sunday's game and subsequent benching, Hightower stepped in and carrired the rock for a season high 26 times and turned it into 102 yards. Heading into the game, the Seahwaks had only let a RB run for more than 51 yards twice in 7 games. With that performance against that defense, Hightower is sure to be more involved going forward. Charcandrick West, RB, Chiefs - West played the entire second half of Sunday's game as Spencer Ware left the game due to a concussion. With Jamaal Charles injury setback's and the unkown of how bad Ware's concussion is, Ware could be the lead back heading into this weeks game. He will most likely be the most popular waiver wire target this week so put your claims in now! (Owned in 8% of Yahoo Leagues)
