Bryn Forbes is the next Stephen Curry

The San Antonio Spurs found a hidden undrafted gem in Bryn Forbes. I am really impressed with his game and he has great shooting stroke. He is a project to develop and I believe he will end up with a roster spot in 2016. You can never have enough offense and while people question the size of Bryn Forbes these same people questioned Stephen Curry and they still do. He really looks like a diamond in the rough and I am stunned that no one drafted him in the 2016 NBA Draft. The Spurs will have a lot of depth when it comes to Point Guard and Shooting Guard this year.
I am excited that Manu Ginobili is returning to the Spurs for the 2016-2017. I am really excited to watch summer league and watch Bryn Forbes develop. I think he will be a really great player in the next couple of years and the Spurs have a good young core in development. I am really impressed with the Spurs organization and they keep finding hidden diamond in the rough. I wouldn't be surprised if NBA teams will be disappointed they didn't have the Spurs pragmatic vision to develop a special like Bryn Forbes.
Bryn has Stephen Curry level potential with some work on his game. He will be playing in a great system and I think he will less defensive version of Danny Green. However, with some work on defense he could become a elite player in the NBA. I think the Spurs are quietly going to back to the 2014 formula that won them the championship. I am still optimistic that Durant or Gasol will sign with the Spurs in 2016. I think they will fit in extremely well with the Spurs. I think what is great the Spurs are rebuilding without going through a tanking process. The Spurs are bringing in a great young core for the future while keeping experienced veterans. The Summer League and the Bryn Forbes watch will be very interesting to see how it plays out and tomorrow they play Utah Jazz on NBA TV.
