CNBC is reporting that the NFL and Twitter have struck a multi-year deal and this will create major shock waves throughout the media. The internet is truly revolutionizing the game, and how we interact with it.
On Twitter anyone can become someone, and they can market their blogs. I believe that this move will effect ESPN. The game will evolve, and ESPN's NFL department could struggle. I am talking about their website, and their insider program. The media giant is still my dream job.
However, they will need to come up with new and exciting ways to get the news fresh off the web. If I click on Twitter at the moment I can see almost everything going on in the world, and in sports. Now that they added NFL game highlights, who will need Sports Center for NFL?
That is my concern, and I believe Twitter may have a network secured. I really believe they are the best social media overall. This move is very intriguing, and hopefully ESPN will pull through this. I will be following this story very closely. Stay Awesome America, and let Twitter reign!
