Fantasy: NFL DFS Draftkings Steals RB Edition Week 3

Welcome to all my DraftKings players. Every week I will be picking players that I believe will help you win some money. Check out DraftCrunch.com to get all your help in building your lineup and see the projections. They are all about transparency and bridging the gap between the 99% and the 1%.

In this post I will be giving you players that are steals at the RB position. All these projections are through DraftCrunch.com.

Melvin Gordon RB ($5800)

I talked about Gordon before. It is all about opportunity. He goes from splitting carries to being the only healthy back. Last week he got 27 touches and scored 24 fantasy points. He gets the Colts mediocre defense, you can expect the Chargers to feature him a lot. He also now will be more involved in the passing game as well.

Rashad Jennings ($5100)

Jennings has been a consistent back, since joining the Giants. Thats great for the Giants but bad for fantasy purposes. This week he gets the Redskins, who have been reeling. The Redskins do not have a good front and the Giants are going to pound the rock this week. Jennings also is the red zone back and you add in the fact that Norman will cover Beckham, will force the Giants to run the ball more.

Charles Sims ($4900)

Sims is another back worth a flier because he becomes the starter with Martin out with an injury. The Rams are a tough defense to figure out because the first week they gave up a 100 yards to Hyde but then against the Seahawks last week, they shutdown the running game. Even if the Rams defense is the one from last week, Sims is more involved in the passing game anyway, just getting all the running touches is just a bonus. Like some of the other backs I like him because of usage.

Fozzy Whittaker ($3800)

Another back that gets a start because of an injury. Whittaker last week had 19 touches for 131 yards. I would not expect the same this week because Payne was inactive and the Vikings have an excellent defense but the Panthers have one of the best rushing attacks in the league and Whittaker will be the starter. At $3800, he lets you spend up on some other positions. You know he will get 13-15 touches this week, if he scores, he becomes a steal.
