In this post I will be giving you players that are value-plays for Week 5. All these projections are through DraftCrunch.com.

Carson Wentz QB ($6400)

Wentz has been terrific through the first 3 weeks. He has averaged 18.6 fantasy points through 3 starts. This week after a bye he gets the Lions. The Lions have a horrible defense and are missing a bunch of players on defense. Wentz is a nice cheaper options that has the potential to score 19-25 fantasy points. It lets you spend on other positions. Wentz maybe a rookie but he has become very reliable and is a value play this week.

C.J. Anderson RB ($6900)

The Broncos get the Falcons mediocre defense this week. With the Falcons having a great offense, the Broncos may try to shorten the game by running the ball more. Plus if Lynch, the rookie starts, the Broncos may be conservative and feed Anderson more. Anderson is in a great position to put up some big numbers and at $6900, he is a nice counter from the top RBs. He is worth the start.

Brandon Marshall WR ($7100)

Marshall has always been Fitzpatrick's favorite target. Even last week against Sherman and the Seahawks, he got 12 targets. Through four weeks he has 39 targets. This week the Steelers have an average secondary, so Marshall should play better and put up big numbers. With Decker out, Marshall will get a majority of the targets. Plus the Jets need to win this week, so they will press to score points and Marshall has been the top target in the red zone.
