Vikings-Lions 43 point total

This is my least favorite game on the Thursday Slate. The total is the lowest of the 3 games and the Lions are only expected to win 22.75-20.25. So, there is not much scoring. The worry is that its hard to figure out where the scoring will come from. To me both QBs are not playable but I like both Riddick at $5400 and Asiata at $3400. Riddick is a heavy part of the passing game and so he could easily get 5-7 targets and will just need to convert a TD to be a nice play. While Asiata is the goal-line back for the Viking and with them expected to score 20 points, he could have a chance to score 1 of their 2 expected TDs on the day. At $3400, he is really cheap and a great punt, when many people will look other places. In the passing game both Tate ($5600) and Jones ($4100) are decent plays, I prefer Tate because he plays in the slot and is more consistent. For the Vikings both DIggs ($6900) and Rudolph ($3700) are really not great plays but the Lions have struggled against TEs, so you could play him in a plus-match-up.

Redskins-Cowboys 51 point total

This is going to be a fun one. I like both QBs in Cousins and Prescott, their price differs by $400. They are my two favorite on the slate, At RB I only want to play Elliot, who is the second most expensive back on the slate. He is a must-start. The Redskins really struggle to stop the run. For the Redskins I prefer Thompson over Kelley because the Redskins are expected to be trailing and Thompson will have a chance in the passing game. Plus the Cowboys have struggled against pass catching RBs. In the passing game you can pay up for Dez Bryant at $7700 or play Beasley at $5500, both are fine, I prefer Beasley because of the price and their are few elite WRs I like over Bryant. On the Redskins side, Reed is a must-start because he is the best TE on the slate and he is worth paying up for at $6200. I also like Jackson at $4800 because it is a division game and he has torched the Cowboys in his career. Basically this is the game to target on the slate because of the high total.

Steelers-Colts 54 point total

This maybe the highest total but its under the impression that Luck will be playing. I am not sure if he will play as he is going through the concussion protocol and it could be tough to clear him before Thursday. I like Big Ben, Bell and Brown but they are really expensive, the highest on the slate at each position, assuming that Luck does not play. They all will be hard to get on a roster, without getting value in other areas. One way is to not roster Big Ben but play Brown and Bell, while playing another QB, like Cousins or Bradford. All three Steelers have an excellent match-up against a bad Colts defense. For the Colts, Gore gets a bump up if Luck does not play because they may look to run the ball more. At $5200, he is a nice cheap option to pair with Bell or Elliott. Both Hilton and Moncrief are good plays if Luck is playing but if he does not play, I may only consider Hilton as he is the better player. This game will hinge on Luck playing or not. If he plays I will target this game a lot but if he does not I will look towards the Cowboys and Redskins game.
