After another upsetting weekend of Purdue Football, Boilermakers everywhere are looking for a dose of happiness. Now, rumor has it that there are two Brothers named Harry and Jake can set you up with one of these, but we say Where Else would you go than Mackey Arena? *puns*
TONIGHT the Boilers will take on the McNeese State Cowboys of Lake Charles, Louisiana in their first actual game of the season! The Boilers' performance last week in their exhibition vs Southern Indiana didn't give me a huge amount of confidence; we were out-rebounded and some players had some issues getting the ball to fall, but the Boilers still managed to take this one by 22, down a couple of players. The suspensions will continue through tonight's game. Additionally, it has been announced that Jaquil Taylor will be on the bench indefinitely after undergoing ankle surgery. He will likely be out until February according to rumors. No bueno.
Despite all of this, come out to Mackey tonight to get yourself a dose of happiness! If this doesn't work, Harry and Jake can help you out.
