Another 76ers Game, Another National Anthem Controversy...

Last night's game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder was supposed to be the big coming out party for Joel Embiid, but, once again, much like in Miami a week or so ago, another woman decides that the National Anthem is the perfect time to air her displeasures with our country...allow me to remind everyone, just about a week or so ago, a young woman was about to sing the National Anthem just prior to the Heat/Sixers pre season game, she took a knee at center court and essentially protested her herself singing the Anthem, she did this while wearing a "Black Lives Matter" t-shirt, and last night's Sixers/Thunder game, singer Sevyn Streater decided she was going to wear a jersey that said "We Matter", she was told not to wear that, and instead was offered a Sixers jersey, she refused, she was not allowed to sing the anthem, instead a young lady from the Sixer dance team sang the Anthem...The Sixers organization later said, she signed a contract saying she would not use her time singing the Anthem to promote her personal agenda...
