Media Trying To Smear The Legacy Of Jose Fernandez
Tonight I'm sickened by the local/national media. Jose Fernandez is sadly dead, but, the media felt it was necessary to bring up the fact that Fernandez had cocaine and alcohol in his system when he died. I want to know why the hell does it matter now? What is MLB going to suspend him posthumously? The man was a pitcher, and a damn good one at that, let's remember him for that. This reminds me of when Prince died, now, I'll say it, I wasn't the biggest Prince fan, but, what purpose did it serve to say he was addicted to pain killers, what purpose did it serve to keep bringing up that he was a Jehoveah's Witness? And why vandilize the man's Wikipedia page by post 'Dead Jehoviah's Witness Negro?' Just let these men rest, and let us remember them the way they were...
