Week 12's Studs and Duds

Thursday:

Thursday saw fantasy points being slung everywhere. The Cowboys continued their dominant streak with a win over the Redskins, behind Zeke’s 120 yards and 2 TDs. Jordan Reed turned in his own 95 yards and 2 TDs. Matthew Stafford continues to shine, since their running game is non-existent. And Le’Veon Bell (2 TDs) and AB versus the Browns? It was over before it began.

Takeaways: Andrew Luck’s concussion was untimely, but Moncrief and Hilton still found some relevancy. But Ben Roethlisberger and company will continue to be reliable even with their losing ways.

Sunday:

Colin Kaepernick showed flashes of his prime with 409 yards and 3 TDs and LeSean McCoy experienced no setbacks with his 134 yards and 2 TDs. But the bad was bad. Brandin Cooks, Julio Jones, and Gronk were left without a catch, which is disappointing when their teams put up big numbers.

Takeaways: You’re trusting the Raiders’ offense and that’s fine, but just remember only one of those skilled guys tend to show up. And the Pats always seem to have one guy that shows up out of nowhere (Malcolm Mitchell 2 TDs).

Monday:

Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers finally showed up and snapped the 4 game losing streak. And while Carson Wentz seemed to be a prodigy, he has fallen back down to true rookie status with just 254 yards passing and an overall record of 5-6.

Takeaways: The Eagles’ receivers are competing for worst in the league and their run game is doesn’t exist. Not a playoff team. The Packers offense is still potent, the passing game at least. No run game. Bad defense. Not a playoff team.
