Week 11's Studs and Duds

Thursday:

A battle in the pitiful NFC South. It was only a year ago The Panthers looked destined to be repeat NFC Champs. They narrowly beat a high powered Saints team behind 192 yards and a TD from Cam and a score from Jonathan Stewart.

Takeaways: Drew Brees and that offense are always going to score no matter what. It’s just the case of who it’s going to be. And Cam Newton may not be that 40 point machine anymore, but you can still count on him.

Sunday:

Le’Veon Bell did what he was supposed to against the Browns and a guy named Rob Kelley torched the Packers for 137 yards and a hat trick. Dez Bryant has become consistent with Dak and it’ll only form a stronger connection between the two. RIP AJ Green, we appreciate your service. Kirk Cousins’ bet on himself is paying off and the Eagles backfield is the worst.

Takeaways: Injuries are going to start to take a toll and the no. 2 guy can quickly become the stud. Take a chance on Dak and Kirk, they could be the difference.

Monday:

Derek Carr is the league’s next star QB, while Brock Osweiler might be out of a job soon. The Raiders continued their winning ways behind a passing game that rewarded Amari Cooper with a TD. The only thing significant about the Texans was Lamar Miller’s 113 yards and a score.

Takeaways: DeAndre Hopkins was a real let down this year, but we can’t blame him. The Texans, for that matter, just can never live up to the hype. But keep believing in the Raiders’ young core.
