Week 7's Studs and Duds

Thursday:

Packers Bears. The classic showdown turned out to be a boring showing as the first half resulted in a 0-0 score. The second half was quite the opposite as Aaron Rodgers threw for 3 TDs to secure the win. The Bears became non existent when Hoyer went down.

Takeaways: Rodgers finally looked like his usual self down the stretch of the game, which will benefit Nelson and Cobb. Jordan Howard only rushed for 22 yards and things won’t get easier when he takes on the Vikings next week.

Sunday:

Week 7 was just a mess. A complete disaster. The duds included Jamaal Charles (0 yards), LeSean McCoy (11 yards), Allen Robinson (9 yards), and Amari Cooper (29 yards). But the studs took over. Matt Forte and AJ Green finally got back to 100 yards and Melvin Gordon showed he is the new consistency king with 10 total TDs so far.

Takeaways: It’s odd to see so many bad games, but it's still possible to see gems like David Johnson on Sunday night. Make sure you pay attention to matchups this time of year as your win-loss record is going to start to matter.

Monday:

Brock Osweiler you are not a 72 million dollar man. The Broncos made sure he knew no money was wasted. Brock continues to stall the Texans offense and it gets worse every week.

Takeaways: DeAndre Hopkins is in a desperate situation, while Demaryius Thomas seems to have found a groove with Siemien. By now you’re stuck with any Houston player and you must pray they come through.
