After 43 days of investigation in search of the most coveted piece of sports memorabilia, Tom Brady’s jersey was finally hauled down in Mexico in the possession of a member of the international media, according to the NFL.

The Mexican Editorial Organization (OEM) identified the man in possession of #12's jersey as Martin Mauricio Ortega, he was a director at Diario La Prensa, until he resigned last Tuesday.

During the search of Ortega's home authorities also found a helmet believed to belong to Von Miller, MVP from Super Bowl 50.

Law enforcement used footage of Fox to notice Ortega walking into the Patriots locker-room with a briefcase and moments later walking out with a suspicious item under his armpit.
