The United States have made it to the World Baseball Classic's final for the first time in the competition's history. They will face off against Puerto Rico who has yet to lose a game in the tournament.
Led by All stars Adam Jones, Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich the Americans made it past the group of death defeating the likes of Dominican Republic and Venezuela on its way to a collision course with Japan.
The U.S. escaped Tuesday's night semi-final matchup with a win over the Japanese 2-1 after Adam Jones brought in the winning run with a ground ball to 3rd base.
Puerto Rico meanwhile breezed thru group play after being drawn in a weak bracket, they defeated underdog Netherlands in extra innings on Monday to solidify a place in the championship game.
The final which is being played in Los Angeles will be very difficult, but the United States should find ways to win with its star lineup.
