NFL preseason i juries

The NFL doesn't want players getting hurt in preseason. Not many really do but you may get couple big ones. So they want to not play anyone and rest players. So players now get injured week 1 and out for the year because maybe they aren't as ready to go as they could be. How is that any better?? Stop worrying about preseason injuries and leave the whole season schedule alone.
