1st Look at New Look Knicks

The Knicks will be one of the biggest stories all year long after the off season moves with Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Brandon Jennings. Add the Olympic performance of Carmelo Anthony and you have high expectations of the Knicks. But last night was rough. They still have to try and get more movement as it was a lot of isolation and one on one play from Carmelo Anthony. The parts look good but maybe the car won't run.

Anthony came out hot scoring 11 of the Knicks 18 first quarter points on 5/7 shooting but finished 3/11 the rest of the way for 19 points. He added 5 rebounds, 3 assists and had 4 turnovers. He still looked like the guy that has to work to hard to get shots off and they have to find ways to get him easier baskets. Rose had 17 points on 17 shots and added 1 assist and 4 turnovers. He doesn't have the same explosion since the injury but is still crafty around the basket. He needs to be a consistent jump shooter because Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis will draw attention.

Porzinigis added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks but shot just 5/13 from the field. Jennings had 5 assists but was just 1/7 shooting. The Knicks had 18 turnovers to add to their offensive woes and host Memphis next which is another really god defensive team
