Week 14 NFL Predictions

Oakland vs Kansas City

The winner will be in first place in the AFC West and one step closer to clinching a by in the first round of the playoffs. Both teams had to comeback to win their games last week and this is a nationally televised primetime game. Should be a good one and with both teams being very familiar with one another the home team has the edge. Raiders 27 Chiefs 29.

Pittsburgh vs Buffalo

The Steelers offense has been grooving of late and the Bills defense hasn't been good all year. Can Tyrod and McCoy make enough plays to sustain drives and keep Big Ben and company off the field. The Bills don't have a corner that can come close to containing Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell should have another stellar week. Steelers 33 Bills 24.

Denver vs Tennessee

Winning is all that matters at the end of the day. It doesn't matter how good or bad you look when winning as long as you win. That has been the Broncos season thus far. Inconsistent quarterback play and a leaky run defense has led the defending champs in a fight for their playoff lives. The Titans have a tough road ahead as they are tied with Indy and Houston atop the AFC South and need a big win this week at home. They can run the football and Denver struggles stopping it. Broncos 24 Titans 27.

Washington vs Philadelphia

Nothing like playing an inferior team to end a losing streak and that is what DC has in front of them. They are the better team all around and they should win easily. Josh Norman and the DC defense may get plenty of opportunities as Carson Wentz has been a turnover machine of late. DC 39 Eagles 24.

Arizona vs Miami

The Cardinals needed a big win last week to keep their playoff hopes alive and now they have a chance to keep it going against a team in Miami that was embarrassed last week in Baltimore. Carson Palmer has to be licking his chops watching Joe Flacco throw the ball around vs the Dolphins secondary who doesn't have anywhere near the weapons he has. As for Miami, they need to win this game just to get the bad taste out of their mouth from last week. Cardinals 32 Dolphins 19.

San Diego vs Carolina

Losing another close game could have the Chargers ready to pack it in and move on with the season but Rivers won't stop fighting. The Chargers aren't officially done but they are more than likely not making the playoffs. Coach Rivera wants to hit the reset button on the season and get a do over. The question is will they return to Super Bowl form next year? The Panthers should be able to protect home field. Chargers 24 Panthers 26.

Cincinnati vs Cleveland

Can the Bengals avoid being that team the Browns get their first win against? It would be something for RGIII to return and end the losing streak. Bengals 32 Browns 12.

Chicago vs Detroit

This is a game that the Lions have to win, they can't be taken seriously if they lose a game at home to a team as bad as the Bears. The Lions defense was outstanding last week in New Orleans and another solid performance is all that's needed. Bears 13 Lions 26.

Houston vs Indianapolis

The Texans are headed in the wrong direction. Just two weeks ago they were flying high and then Brock started turning the ball over at an alarming rate. The get get good enough performances from the defense but they can't continue to lose the turnover battle. Luck and Hilton have found their chemistry and the Colts with their quarterback and  their experience they should win the division. Texans 17 Colts 23.

Minnesota vs Jacksonville

Can Sam Bradford play well enough to get a victory or does he continue to struggle and be the reason the team is defeated? The defense can't play much better than it has all year and they should create more turnovers vs Blake Bortles. Bortles has the chance to play spoiler down the stretch and wasn't able to do it last week but has an excellent chance this week. Vikings 13 Jaguars 16.

New York Jets vs San Francisco

Does anyone really care who wins this game? The Jets have more talent so they should win. Jets 19 49ers 18.

New Orleans vs Tampa

Brees and the Saints offense looked average last week at home and now travel to Tampa who's defense looks for real all of a sudden. Mike Evans will be a huge problem for the Saints and Doug Martin should have big game. The Saints don't have back-to-back bad games offensively so expect a shootout. Saints 37 Buccaneers 36.

Atlanta vs Los Angles

A pick two was the difference between the Falcons winning and losing last week vs Kansas City and Matt Ryan should play better having his team lose because he threw a pick six and a pick two to the same guy. This could be another week where the Rams have to score a lot of points which doesn't help with the lack of production from Todd Gurley. Falcons 22 Rams 19.

Seattle vs Green Bay

The loss of Earl Thomas will hurt and it could start this week vs Aaron Rodgers. Seattle's offense should still be able to put up numbers vs the Packers' defense and help their banged up d. The weather always plays a role at Lambeau and the Packers play better when it's cold and wet. Seahawks 23 Packers 26

Dallas vs New York Giants

Dallas knows that they haven't lost since week 1 vs the Giants and feel like they want to make sure the Giants know that they are not the same team from week 1. New York struggled last week vs the Steelers but this is a rivalry game and they are so expect a better performance from the G-men. If Eli can avoid the big turnover the Giants should remain in the game. Cowboys 16 Giants 17.

Baltimore vs New England

After looking like the best team in football the Patriots have regressed in recent weeks and Baltimore is trending upward after the performance vs the Dolphins. The Ravens have gone in to Foxboro and won so they won't be intimidated and no Gronk and a leaky defense will keep Baltimore in the game. Flacco tends to play well vs Brady and this should be a good one. Ravens 24 patriots 22.
