WGC Mexico Championship Draftkings Picks

Tommy Fleetwood @ $10,000

This week it's going to be hard for me to pass up on ole' Tommy boy. He has been playing some super consistent golf and has excellent form coming into this tournament. Not to mention he placed a solo 2nd here last year. At only $10,000 he is someone you can count on to pull through in your lineups this week. I know it's an obvious play, but I had to go there. He's just too good.

Matt Kuchar @ $7,600

Matt chose not to play in the Genesis last week and instead began preparing for the WGC Mexico Championship. He is only $7,600 which is way too cheap for how talented he is. Matt Kuchar is one of those guys that I love to play when hes in the high 7K to low 8K range. He finished T20 here last year and is coming in with some solid form. I like that Matt took the last week off and is coming in feeling fresh this week in Mexico. He is a safe play with a high ceiling in cash and GPP lineups.

Daniel Berger @ $7,900

Daniel Berger came out on fire last week. I was all over him and he was paying off big time until he finally cooled off Sunday. I like playing people who flare up like that the week before but miss out on their W. He is in a good spot to bounce back and placed T16 here last year. I'm not going to go too heavy on Berger this week but I will get a little exposure.

Phil Mickelson @ $9,300

Well, I finally feel like Phil is on the right track to get his win this year. He has been shooting absolutely lights out these past few weeks and is going to be in contention come Sunday. He is only $9300 and will more than likely be the super mega chalk play of the week. However, with him placing T7 here last year I'm going to have a hard time not playing him while he is in such good form.

Mark Leishman @ $7,600

This guy has been playing magnificent for weeks on end. He finally came crashing down to earth after placing 102nd at the Genesis Open. Before that, he had 3 top 10's in his past 5 starts. Not too bad for a guy priced at $7,600. I would hop back on the Leishman train before it gets too expensive. Minimal exposure of course.

Well, I wish the best of luck to everyone out there. It was super hard not to mention Tony Finau but I feel like he is going to be so highly owned this week that I'm going to mostly fade him in GPP's. Thomas Pieters and Paul Casey also deserve to be mentioned. Oh well! Good luck everyone and thanks for taking the time to read my article. Happy Thursday.
