Miami Dolphins vs Cincinnati Bengals preview

Miami comes off a huge win against the Cleveland Browns in over time to make their record 1-2. Cincinnati on the other hang lost to Denver and are now 1-2.

Both teams desperately need to win to stay at .500 and compete for the playoffs. If Miami can win this game it would be huge considering they started 0-2.

Here are a couple of things to watch for and what will be important if Miami wants to win this game.

1. Pressure Andy Dalton: Almost every quarterback does bad under pressure and Dalton is no exception, the Dolphins need to get in his face and make him feel uneasy in the pocket.

2. Covering AJ Green: This is big especially since AJ Green is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. See who's matched up on him (possibly Byron Maxwell) and if he can make AJ Green ineffective.

3. Ryan Tannehill: Tannehill got away with two interceptions thrown one for a touchdown, but that won't be the case against a good Cincinnati Bengals team. Tannehill must be more accurate and precise with his throws or this game will get out of hand really fast.

4. The Dolphins run game: The passing yards were there against the Browns, but the run game was awful. Almost every time Miami ran the ball it only got one to two yards. It's going to be extremely tough to run against a good front four Thursday night but will be important if Miami is to come away with a win.

5. Special teams: This is huge in field position and all aspects of the game. If Miami wants to win they will need to be able to change field position for the other team if they want to have success in this game.

This will be a tough game for Miami to win, but after an emotional win on Sunday there is life in this team. Miami wins in a close one again 24-17.
