The Miami Heat have gone from being one of the worst teams in the NBA to possible playoff contenders. Since they're terrible start of the season they have had a thirteen game winning streak, an arising star in Deion Waiters, and have won enough games to almost put them at .500.
The Miami Heat are currently the ninth seed behind the Detroit Pistons. With fourteen games left in the season every win is crucial if the Heat want to make the post season. The next game is against the Timberwolves who the Heat have already beaten this year. The next four games are at home so this should definitely help the Heat as they make a post season run.
If Miami were to make the post season it would most likely be the eighth seed against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Miami Heat have beaten the Cavs twice this year and lead the series 2-1. Now the playoffs are different, but if Miami can enter the playoffs on a winning streak there could be a potential upset looming in the air.
