Cam Newton Set to Speak to Roger Goodell Following Missed Calls
Cam Newton is no stranger to taking big hits, he has taken them his entire NFL career, however it seems in 2016 he is not being protected as a QB by the officials much like other franchise QBs are. After an obvious missed call on a hit below the knees that shook Newton up, he had finally had enough.
Newton, in a post-game press conference stating:
"It's really taking the fun out of the game for me honestly. Because at times I don't even feel safe. And enough is enough. I plan on talking to Commissioner Goodell about this. But it's not fun. And I don't know what I have to do."
Whether Newton's plea will help his cause or not, something needs to be fixed or Newton is going to end up getting seriously hurt.
