It’s was Tuesday evening when the deal went through. I was ecstatic as I finally got one of my favorite players, Jeremy Lin, onto my fantasy NBA team. And he has been playing great so far too, so I was really excited to have him on my team. But then, the next day, when he and the Brooklyn Nets faced off against the Detroit Pistons, something horrible happened. Lin suffered a leg injury and had to leave the game.

I didn’t think it was anything serious. I thought he’ll be out maybe a game, maybe a week, max. But new reports are saying that his injury, a strained left hamstring, will sideline him for a minimum of two weeks.

This sucks, but luckily, I picked up Sean Kilpatrick earlier in the week. On Wednesday, the fourth-year guard held the fort down for Lin, as he scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

According to the team, Lin will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
