Curry will probably break own record for 3s: James

Steph Curry made 13 three pointers last night in a game against the New Orleans Pelicans, setting a new record for most three pointers made in a single game. With this accomplishment, he beats Kobe Bryant’s game high of 12 (achieved in 2003), and Donyell Marshall’s game high of 12 (achieved in 2005).

This is an amazing (and difficult) achievement, but the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James believes that it can be broken. On Tuesday, James was asked by the media after the Cavs' morning shootaround if anyone can break the record and make more than 13 threes. James said that it’ll probably be Curry who breaks it or one of his Golden State Warriors' teammates. Per Cleveland.com:

"He'd probably be the one to break it, or one of those guys, KD (Kevin Durant) or Klay (Thompson) could break that," James said.

The most threes Thompson has ever made in a single game is 11, and Durant’s is 7.

James was also asked if there were any games or performances in the past that left him in awe. He said that Scott Skiles' 30-assist game back on Dec. 30, 1990 was one, while the other was Kobe’s 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors back in 2006.
