Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thuder trade recap

The Chicago Bulls traded Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott, and a 2018 2nd Round draft pick in exchange for Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow, and Joffrey Lauvergne. In my opinion, "The Chicago Bulls was robbed". I grade them a D for this trade. Taj Gibson was a quality big man that had a starting potential. Doug McDermott was a great shooter who shot .410 from 3-point range. Both Taj and Doug had promising futures with the Chicago Bulls. In exchange of what the Chicago Bulls got was Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow, and Joffrey Lauvergne. Cameron Payne is a terrible 3-point shooter and he doesn't have the potential to become a starting point guard. Anthony Morrow is 31 years old, so he's not a young player. However, he is a good 3-point shooter. His career percentage is 3-point shooting is .417, but he is currently shooting  .294. Joffrey Lauvergne is not a good player and doesn't have a starting potential. He's 25 years but could evolve in the future with Chicago.

The Chicago Bulls are not interesting at all. They are so mediocre and that's the worst. They're not competing for a Championship or even a good draft pick. Gar Forman, John Paxson, and Fred Hoiberg must be fired, not after the season, but now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very heart-breaking for Bulls fan that the Chicago Bulls are average. Chicago deserves more than this. Nothing is progressing and the Chicago Bulls are getting worst. This franchise used to be very exciting in the 1990s with Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman and in the year of 2010-15 with DPOY Joakim Noah, former MVP Derrick Rose, and current rising star Jimmy Butler. They used to be Championship Contenders and now they're very close to missing the Playoffs this year.

Projected Starting Five: PG Jerian Grant, SG Dwayne Wade, SF Jimmy Butler, PF Nikola Mirotic, and C Robin Lopez

In the Other side, the Oklahoma City Thunder are moving in the right direction. Doug McDermott is a great shooter and could help Thunder make more shots. Taj Gibson is the potential starter moving Domantas Sabonis to the bench. They are very close to competing in the West with the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, and Grizzlies.

Projected Starting Five: PG Russell Westbrook, SG Victor Oladipo, SF Doug McDermott, PF Taj Gibson, and C Steven Adams

Overall, The Oklahoma City Thunder definitely won the trade. The Chicago Bulls are mediocre, closing to being worst. The Oklahoma City Thunder are moving in the right direction and could quickly become a Championship contender hopefully by next season or in 3 years. Comment on what you think about this trade.
