The Most Underrated High School Basketball Team in Illinois

The De La Salle Meteors are one of the most underrated teams in Chicago.  They are on a 5-game winning streak after upsetting ranked #19 St. Joseph and winning 1st Place at the St. Patrick Thanksgiving Tournament.  The Meteors are looking to have a successful season. They are one of the best teams in the Chicago Catholic League and one of the most underrated teams in Illinois. They are playing under The Amazing Coach Tom White who had some many outstanding seasons, such as winning 7 regionals and a few Chicago Catholic League Titles while coaching at De La Salle. De La Salle has a lot of key players that can make an impact for this team such as Senior Team Captain Stone Parker, Will Norman, Jamari Norwood, and Aeris Jackson. They are good enough to be Chicago Catholic League champions, but are they good enough to be one of the best teams in the state?!?!! 

De La Salle has silenced many doubters after upsetting  #19 St. Joseph. They lost a lot of senior players who made a big impact for De La Salle last year, such as Andre Raiford, George Willborn, and Christian Hayes. After the reduction of those Senior Players, people started doubting the 2016-17 Meteors Basketball Team. The Meteors Basketball Team didn't give up because they started practicing  during Offseason and each day they keep getting stronger and stronger. They also acquired to some more talented players that could help makes this team better. The Meteors are desperate and determined to have a winning season this year since they are ranked as underdogs of the CCL and the ISHA. The De La Salle can win the CCL Title, but are they capable of going downstate to become State Championship contenders? People would deny that because if the Meteors go downstate, they will be facing tougher teams. De La Salle has been working very hard, especially in practices. The Team Chemistry is developing and they're basketball skills is evolving. They have a State Championship potential with many of these talented players. This year, The De La Salle Meteors have bigger plans and they are looking silence many doubters throughout Illinois.
